Nanolia has now moved away from first and indeed second generation Nano Sealants, always looking towards improving performance, enhancing usability by the creation of a new generation of safe, eco-friendly material which allow to enhance the surface without the creation or use of dangerous chemicals, not effecting the looks or feel of the substrate and maintaining breathability.

Nanolia new generation coatings create a transparent protective film over the substrate which guard against Organic and Inorganic pollution like algae, lichen, moss, fungus, chemical attack etc making the surface ‘easy to clean’. The treated surface shows a high water and oil repellency along with an advanced level of soil resistance. This result allows for economic safe cleaning and, due to the drastic reduction of bacteria being formed on the surface, easy maintenance of surface with reduced risk of cross-contamination.

Our latest Nanolia Impregnations on the other hand do not form a film over the substrate but, as the name implies, actually impregnates into the structure of the substrate allowing the chemical reaction to take place yet still allowing the substrate to breath. These impregnations have the added benefit of more resistant against abrasion yet give almost the same properties as our coatings. One example of this is our water-based Textile I-C Protect. The fabric can be soaked or sprayed with the treatment and the impregnation will quickly absorb into the fibers of the fabric. Once dry the fabric will look, feel and perform in the same way as before with the added benefit that it will be water and oil resistant for over 15 washes then the treatment can be simply re applied once again.

With the use of the recommended pre-clean and micro-fibre cloth the clean, coat and care of most substrates become more hygienic, cost effective and more esthetically pleasing, cutting the carbon footprint and making the new generation products more user friendly.
