Their easy-to-clean effect results from a chemical reaction of a sol gel solution. After the curing process a cross-linked, three dimensional nanoscale structure is created – only a few atoms thick. How clean is clean?

The superior efficiency of the Nanolia Glass Cleaner can be easily tested by simply spraying water onto a cleaned area. The water flattens and spreads out with a near zero contact angle to form a thin film with no droplets, which is the accepted standard indication of perfectly clean glass.
