Nanolia PowerCoat M Series™

A more powerful version of PowerCoat, Nanolia’s PowerCoat M Series was developed as a high performance anti-corrosion coating for industrial applications – with a great many more uses besides. Surfaces protected with our PowerCoat M Series are very easy to clean and are resistant to almost everything including abrasion, rust, and chemical attacks from acids, alkalis and solvents. The coating is UV stable and therefore perfect for outdoor use.

Highly versatile, it is suitable for use on aluminium, magnesium, copper, brass, steel, ceramics, glass and all mineral or mineral based surfaces.

Our PowerCoat M Series is an advanced, single-component clear coating based on sol-gel nanotechnology. It achieves its incredible performance after the recommended drying process in an industrial oven at a temperature of 160°C, when the surface dries to form an extremely hard, permanent protective coating. After drying, the tempering process continues which within a few days results in the desired combination of hardness, ductility, toughness and strength.

Always test a small sample to ensure that the desired result is achieved before proceeding with the main project. If in doubt, do not proceed.

May be applied by all the usual methods (rolling, painting, spraying, dipping/immersion). The surface to be treated must be clean and free from any dirt and fats/oils. We recommend that Nanolia AG Graffiti  Removal products  or PreClean are used for this purpose. Pre-treatment with Acetone is not sufficient. For Aluminium and Magnesium surfaces Nanolia Pre-Clean M1 is recommended. For the preparation of aluminium and magnesium surfaces an alkali cleaner is the best method. Specifics of the application process will vary depending upon the surface to be coated. We are happy to advise you fully in these cases.

Depending upon the surface to be treated, a result of about 50 – 60 m² may be achieved with 1 kg.
1 litre bottle, 5 litre canister, 25 litre canister. Other packing forms/sizes are possible after prior consultation with us and according to the transport possibilities/regulations.
The product may be stored for at least 12 months in its original packing. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
Empty containers as well as any remaining product must be disposed of according to the local laws and regulations or it must be taken to the community collection point for such materials.
